As the CEO of Birota Economics Group, he specializes in providing early-stage economic insights to life sciences companies, guiding them through the complexities of market access and reimbursement landscapes.
In his academic role at Queen’s University Belfast, Professor McCabe holds a joint appointment between the Queen’s Business School and the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences. His research focuses on developing methodologies for economic evaluation and HTA, contributing to national and international standards in the assessment of innovative health technologies.
